Facebook is the biggest social media platform of the world. Even 60-year old housewives are fond of it, which is something you couldn’t think about 20 years ago. I used the word “even”, but I think the word “especially” should be put there instead. It seems like that the younger people are using Facebook more less nowadays, because it’s just not “special” anymore.
When you think about it: why do we “like” things anyway? We could still “like” the content (a video or whatever) without having to push the button to like it on Facebook, right? When you think like that, you start wondering why we are on Facebook in the first place. For me, it’s mainly because of family. I have family members who do not use WhatsApp or something else: they just use Facebook. It makes it easy to communicate with them over there, so that’s the main reason. Second reason would be networking, as I have some friends there who I can really use when I would make a move to England, for example. Oh, don’t forget the fact I love to tag the persons I love, at Facebook. It’s nice to share things.
What I don’t like about Facebook, though, is that it’s just a big hub with big data who knows literally anything about us. Okay, you could say that Google does too, but I think Facebook is more dangerous to be honest. Nevertheless, we’ll keep using it for now, until a better alternative comes. My goal is to actually just get rid of all social media after marrying as it’s just a bad place where stupid people can try finding you. Obviously, it wouldn’t matter if you are concentrating on your life, but not everyone is capable of doing so. I noticed I am getting a lot of friend requests by women, suddenly. If I wouldn’t trust myself, I would be able to do so many bad things just via a simple medium like this.
Well, Facebook: just use this text to enhance yourself, because you really need it. Innovation is not just adding some extra emojis, mate.
