Every form of gossip is wrong, obviously. Gossip is something that shouldn’t happen. You should be clear, communicate and be honest. This way, you can avoid a lot of problems, even if short term problems would occur. The long run is the most important aspect you have to check.
Anyway, this is the case for every kind of gossip. You’ll get a bigger problem if you are a celebrity, because the media just loves sensation and you get stories that are either not true or stories that are true, but exaggerated. Even that wouldn’t be a problem for me, as I am not a celebrity, but I hate the fact that the media is full with shit stories like this.
For example, today, I read some stories in the newspaper stating something “shocking” happened. When I read it, I was thinking: “why the fuck should we care about what two singers think about each other?”
– She slept with my husband, she is a bitch
– No, stupid liar, you are the one who fucked with my man? Oh and look at me. How dare you? I have social projects and I am also a mum, I can’t do all of these things?
– No, you are the liar here. You made sure I couldn’t work and you have some friends in the media who are silencing me.
It goes on and on and on. I truly hate the fact that people enjoy gossip, but I think I am really disgusted by the fact that journalism is officially dead. A true journalist is someone like Walter Cronkite, Joseph Pullitzer or Ugur Mumcu. People who are famous for really investigating and making sure they state facts instead of bullshit.
Fuck off with the gossiping, celebrity “news” and things like that. Bring me back the quality!
